Toscana Promozione Turistica is the tourism promotion agency for Tuscany, undoubtedly one of Italy's leading regions for food and wine tourism.
Francesco Tapinassi, a specialist in tourism digital marketing, social media marketing and brand reputation analysis, has been in charge of Tuscany's promotion strategy since 2021. He is also the scientific director of Be Travel Onlife, Italy's leading event dedicated to digital tourism marketing.
Among the positions that attest to his experience, he was head of the National Tourism Policy Department at the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism (2014-2021), where he developed the strategic plan for tourism, achieving 100% of the objectives set.
He is a speaker at conferences on tourism reviews and online reputation, a trainer in collaboration with several Italian universities, and co-author with Nicola Zoppi of the Apogeo book 'Web Marketing of Reviews. A TripAdvisor survival guide for hoteliers and restaurateurs'.
