Fernando Valmaseda is one of Spain's leading figures in tourism journalism.
A communications and tourism consultant and expert in integrated communications, specialising in the tourism sector and the design of tourism strategies and policies, he has been working in the sector for 34 years, holding management positions in major media companies and founding some of the most important publications in the Spanish publishing world, based on his own original projects.
In 2002, he founded the RV EDIPRESS GROUP, which is currently the leading communications agency in Spain for the twelfth consecutive year, specialising in the tourism sector, and the only one in the world to offer a 360º service dedicated to this sector.
He has also launched an innovative, pioneering and important international initiative called the European Association of Specialised Tourism Communication Agencies.
He is also the director of the television programme Miradas Viajeras and co-founder and president of the Network of Gastronomic Villages of Spain.
