Ambassador for the World Food Travel Association (France).

Passionate about gastronomy since childhood, she joined the Association in mid-2021.
Her passion for travel and gastronomy led her to leave her 20-year career in IT, working as a product manager for multinational companies, to create her own gastronomic tourism company, Béchamels. Béchamels supports destinations and culinary businesses in their development and transformation. Elise is deeply committed to ensuring that her company promotes the development of local tourism by valuing artisans (‘creators’) and products through a storytelling deeply rooted in local culture and history.
Her ambassadorial journey truly began when Erik, the association's founder and executive director, interviewed her for one of the WFTA's podcasts. In her role as an ambassador and Board member, Elise promotes the association and the Culinary Capital program in France. She organises webinars and speaks at conferences on topics related to gastronomic tourism , specifically on how to build distinctive and effective offering and marketing strategies.
