Joaquina began her professional career in Madrid in the late 1980s, working for tour operators and wholesale and retail travel agencies. 1980s, working for tour operators, as well as wholesale and retail travel agencies (Trapsatur and Century Travel).
In 2003, she relocated to Extremadura, where she established the tourism consultancy Magnus Nature, specialising in local tourism development. Since then, she has developed numerous consultancy projects, providing technical assistance services at national and international levels.With a degree in Tourism and Marketing, she is responsible for the company's expansion and commercial launch. She is backed by more than 25 years of experience in the tourism sector.
Her recent projects include creating the Extremadura Olive Oil Route, auditing food and wine product clubs in Extremadura, designing a wine tourism product for the Ribera Wine Route and Cava, and developing the Network of Vineyard and Olive Grove Viewpoints in the Tierra de Barros region of Badajoz (a project that was awarded the title of best sustainable wine tourism project in 2022 by ACEVIN).
She is also a founding member of the Network of Gastronomic Villages of Spain and currently holds the position of vice-president of the Vineyard and Olive Grove Network in the Badajoz region.
