Rosa has an extensive professional career and wide-ranging management experience, gained in various multinational companies in different sectors, having obtained a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid.
After holding various senior positions in multinational companies, she left her role at Coca-Cola in 2003 to fulfil her father's dream with her brother Paco: to manage the family olive grove in Jaén.
This resulted in the establishment of Castillo de Canena Olive Juice, a Jaén-based olive oil company that has swiftly become a leading innovator and quality standard-setter in the global high-end olive oil market.
In 2008, Rosa Vañó was awarded the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and in 2020 she became president of the Andalusian Academy of Gastronomy and Tourism.
