Jesús Ramón Ochoa

Jesús Ramón Ochoa has been the mayor of Ruesga since 1991, when he took office at the young age of 24. Since then, his commitment to the region has only grown stronger. Born and raised in the valley, he has combined working at the town hall with running the family butcher's shop, a trade he started at the age of 19.

With over three decades of experience in public life, he is currently serving his third term as president of the Association of Municipalities of Alto Asón. In this role, he actively promotes cooperation between the region's six municipalities, encouraging sustainable development and the preservation of its vast natural and cultural heritage.
