Ismael e Isabel Castillejo

Having trained and worked abroad, these two brothers, who share the same culinary philosophy, knew they wanted to return to their roots and the place where they grew up. They did this to celebrate the culinary traditions of the mountains, a passion they share with their customers at the family restaurant, Sierra Alta, located in Vega del Codorno in the heart of the Sierra de Cuenca, right by the source of the River Cuervo.

They work with respect for tradition and the local produce, reviving almost forgotten recipes and adapting them to modern times using contemporary techniques.
