Pepe Simón Gámez

Pepe Simón has a degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA. He is also an associate professor in the Business and Marketing Department at ESIC University and EIG International Management School.

He is also a member of the Málaga Gastronomic Academy and the founding partner and CEO of Dehesa Monteros.

Dehesa Monteros is a family business that has managed to position its Iberian ham in some of the world's most exclusive restaurants and shops through a combination of tradition and innovation. The visionary behind the business was Chelo Gámez, Pepe Simón's mother: “She began raising free-range pigs at a time when few people were committed to this type of production. She did it for ethical reasons and for quality.”
