Fernando Fuentes has been the manager of Finca Río Negro since 2010, playing a key role in consolidating this winemaking project in Cogolludo, Guadalajara. With over three decades of experience in business management, he has spearheaded the growth of the family-run winery and established it as one of the leading producers of premium Spanish wines, strengthening its presence in international markets.
With a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad San Pablo CEU in Madrid and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Fuentes combines a solid academic background with a global business perspective. His career is characterised by the implementation of innovative, developmental and leadership strategies aimed at creating long-term value.
Under his leadership, Finca Río Negro has helped revitalise a historic, high-altitude wine-growing region by focusing on the quality, sustainability, and uniqueness of its wines. These factors have reinforced the winery’s reputation within and outside Spain.
